Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PromptPal Pro (the “app,” “we,” or “our”) handles your information. The short version: we do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. PromptPal Pro has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. Nothing you type, record, or speak is sent to us or to anyone else.

Information That Stays on Your Device

The app uses certain device features to function. All data from these features is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to us:

• Camera — used to display a live preview while you record videos of yourself reading scripts. Video frames are not transmitted off your device.
• Microphone — used so the teleprompter can follow your voice and so audio is captured during recording. Audio is not transmitted off your device.
• Speech Recognition — used to match your spoken words to the on-screen script so the teleprompter can scroll automatically. Speech recognition runs on-device where supported by iOS.
• Photos (Add-Only Access) — used only to save videos you choose to record into your own Photos library. We do not read existing photos or videos.
• Scripts and recordings — stored locally on your device and remain under your control. Deleting the app removes them.
• App preferences — settings such as font size and your active subscription state are stored locally using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults) for performance. They are not transmitted to us.

Subscriptions and Purchases

PromptPal Pro offers an optional in-app subscription. All purchases, billing, and subscription management are handled directly by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment information, your Apple ID, or your name. Apple shares only an anonymous transaction record with the app so it can unlock Pro features on your device.

Apple’s handling of your purchase information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

Apple-Provided Diagnostics

If you opt in through your device’s settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may collect anonymous crash logs and performance data and share them with developers. We use this only to fix bugs and improve stability. This data is provided by Apple in aggregated, de-identified form and is not linked to your identity. You can turn this off at any time in iOS settings.

Children’s Privacy

PromptPal Pro is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we have no separate practices for minors.

Third Parties

We do not share information with third parties because we do not collect any. The app does not contain advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, attribution SDKs, or social-media tracking SDKs.

Your Rights

Because PromptPal Pro does not collect or store your personal information on any server, there is no account to access, correct, or delete on our end. You can remove all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have certain rights under applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA). Since we do not collect personal information, those rights do not produce any data for us to disclose, but you may contact us at any time using the address below if you have questions.

Security

Your scripts, recordings, and preferences are protected by the standard data protection that iOS provides for app data. Because nothing is transmitted to us, there is no remote storage to compromise.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store privacy disclosures for the app.
